TRANSPORTATION CONSTRUCTION INSPECTORS/MANAGERS McTish, Kunkel and Associates is currently accepting resumes for Transportation Construction Inspectors (TCI), Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisors (TCIS) and Transportation Construction Managers (TCM) for roadway and bridge construction projects throughout Pennsylvania. PennDOT and PA Turnpike Project experience is preferred. BSCE graduates with E.I.T. and P.E.s are needed and those certified in NICET, NECEPT, PennDOT Concrete and PennDOT CDS NextGen too. For over 40 years McTish, Kunkel and Associates has been a leader in performing construction inspection and documentation services for PennDOT, the PA Turnpike Commission, and various State Agencies. ALLENTOWN OFFICE:

SENIOR HIGHWAY ENGINEER/PROJECT MANAGER McTish, Kunkel & Associates is seeking a Senior Highway Engineer/Project Manager to join our Allentown, PA office. The primary duties of this position are to serve in a technical leadership role for the engineering development of urban and rural highway/bridge projects. The team player we seek must have a BS or MS degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering, a PA PE license, and 10+ years of experience working on PennDOT, PA Turnpike Commission, or similar projects. Candidate must have proficiency in supervising, managing staff and an understanding of all aspects of highway design. Applicants must demonstrate the following:

  • BS or MS degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
  • PA PE License; 10-years min. of progressive highway design experience.
  • Familiarity and experience with PennDOT standards/publications and procedures.
  • Experience in Stormwater Management and/or Traffic Engineering is a plus.
  • Experience and knowledge in PennDOT web-based applications is a plus. (ECMS, ASTA, KEES, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Bentley Power InRoads and Microsoft Office Suite products..
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, team work, and communication skills, both written and verbal (English).
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER McTish, Kunkel & Associates is a growing consulting engineering firm with immediate openings at their headquarters in Eastern Pennsylvania. The selected candidate will coordinate project development activities for multiple clients with an emphasis on private land development. The candidate should be a self-starter with strong sales skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team. Connections to local and regional business networks are preferred. Typical project assignments may include commercial land development, residential subdivision, municipal consulting, public improvement projects, infrastructure, and stormwater management. The selected candidate will oversee a team of engineers, designers, and technicians. Salary will be commensurate with experience, professional registration and classification. Responsibilities include:

  • Establish and grow relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Oversee a design team with the responsibility to meet office sales and revenue goals and project profit goals.

PROJECT MANAGER McTish, Kunkel & Associates is a growing consulting engineering firm with immediate openings at their North Central Pennsylvania office. The selected candidate will coordinate project development activities for multiple clients with an emphasis on private land development, municipal engineering and/or permitting for the gas exploration industry working in the Marcellus Shale basin.  The candidate should be a self-starter with strong sales skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team.  Connections to local and regional business networks are preferred. Typical project assignments may include commercial land development, residential subdivision, municipal consulting, public improvement projects, infrastructure, stormwater management, gas pipelines, well pads, compressor/meter stations, water transfer stations and water impoundments. The selected candidate will oversee a team of engineers, designers, and technicians. Applicants must demonstrate the following:

The selected candidate will have the ability to serve as the technical design lead for multiple clients with an emphasis on private land development, municipal engineering and/or permitting for the gas exploration industry working in the Marcellus Shale basin.  The candidate should have excellent technical skills and the ability to oversee multiple design related tasks at the same time.  Connections to local and regional business networks are preferred. Typical project assignments may include commercial land development, residential subdivision, municipal consulting, public improvement projects, infrastructure, stormwater management, gas pipelines, well pads, compressor/meter stations, water transfer stations and water impoundments. The selected candidate will collaborate with a team of engineers, designers, and technicians and will be supervised by a Project Manager. Applicants must demonstrate the following:

DESIGNER McTish, Kunkel & Associates is a growing consulting engineering firm with immediate openings at their North Central Pennsylvania office. The selected candidate will have the ability to design and draft projects for multiple clients with an emphasis on private land development, municipal engineering and/or permitting for the gas exploration industry working in the Marcellus Shale basin.  The candidate should have excellent AutoCAD Civil 3D skills and a willingness to work as a valued member of a team. Typical project assignments may include commercial land development, residential subdivision, municipal consulting, public improvement projects, infrastructure, stormwater management, gas pipelines, well pads, compressor/meter stations, water transfer stations and water impoundments. The selected candidate will collaborate with a team of engineers, designers, and technicians and will be supervised by a Project Manager or a Project Engineer. Applicants must demonstrate the following:

  • AS Degree in Civil Engineering Technology at a minimum, BS in Civil Engineering preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in the field of Civil Engineering.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and work on several projects at the same time.
  • Good interpersonal skills that allow the candidate to effectively collaborate with other team members of varying backgrounds and experiences.
